In
the Fall of 1997 we leased our first full blood Boer Buck for breeding
to
our
bush hogs, as we called them. We bought our first percentage doe,
a bottle baby,
in
the winter of 1998 and our first full blood doe in June of 1998.
In
the few years we have owned goats we have learned what it takes to keep
our
herd
healthy and in top condition, but we are still learning. If you purchase
a goat from us,
we
will guarantee that you will receive a disease free animal.
Our
entire family is involved in the daily farm operation and showing of our
goats.
We
participated in our first show in the Fall of 2000. We are located
in central North
Carolina.

our goats.
Our
goal here at Tater Patch Boers is to raise Boer Goats that are easily
maintained,
hardy, disease free, and suited to our lush green grazing conditions
here
in the Piedmont of North Carolina and most all of the east coast.
Our
line
of Boer Goats has been in North Carolina for five generations
and
is well adapted to our environment.
